We had a record number of entries, but that can probably be explained by the fact that this drawing went for 2 months. We would like to apologize for that. These past few months have been hectic for our personal lives, and The Weekly Code got pushed aside for other priorities. Hopefully our next drawing will not drag on nearly as long. Again, we are very sorry.

... Because we certainly do. We apologize for our absence in the past couple weeks. Many things came up in our personal lives that could not be avoided, and the site suffered because of it. Again, we are very sorry. We would like to promise it won't happen again, but you just never know what may come up.

We are sorry for the lack of updates as of recent. As you all should know, we have been hard at work making The Weekly Code known around the internet. We are serious when we say that we want The Weekly Code to be the place for everyone's digital content code needs.

So the second drawing has been going on for  almost 2 weeks now. I know that is a bummer to those of you who entered the drawing (especially those of you who entered back when it was announced), but it is all necessary to ensure The Weekly Code is a long standing site. We would love to be able to do our drawings every week (as we plan to in the near future), but it is just not possible right now. We are working our butts off trying to make The Weekly Code your one-stop-shop for free digital content codes, but it takes some time to achieve that status. Please bare with us as we get through the first month of our existence. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

As you read and can see, the first drawing started on the 24th and was supposed to last until a sufficient amount of visitors saw the site and entered the drawing. That was changed, however. Instead, it was decided to make the first drawing exclusive to members of a certain forum (which will remain nameless) that have provided much assistance to the creation of this site. We couldn't think of a better way to give back to them than to make the first drawing exclusive to them, allowing a high chance of winning for each individual that entered.

We have received many entries, so it has been decided that the raffle drawing will occur today! Once the winner is picked (which will occur shortly), we will announce both the winner of the 1600 Microsoft Points code AND a brand new drawing that will be open to all of the public!
